Zander Arnao is a Policy Analyst at the Knight-Georgetown Institute. He is a policy expert and researcher studying regulation of digital platforms to empower users and promote competition. He received his master’s and bachelor’s from the University of Chicago, where he graduated summa cum laude. His research has focused on global internet governance and the challenges of expanding interoperability between competing digital platforms. His writing on these topics has appeared in a variety of outlets, including Tech Policy Press and the Brookings Institution’s TechTank. In the past, he has analyzed state and federal policy for international advocacy groups and supported enforcement of consumer protection law at the Federal Trade Commission.
