Maarten Pieter Schinkel

Maarten Pieter Schinkel is Professor of Economics at the University of Amsterdam and a research fellow of the Tinbergen Institute. His research interests are in industrial organization and competition policy. Apart from green antitrust, he studies cartel mechanisms, agency behavior and banking competition. His research regularly attracts media attention. He occasionally acts as an expert witness in antitrust cases and is a student-award-winning teacher.
