Jeffrey Miron

Jeffrey Miron is Senior Lecturer, Director of Undergraduate Studies, and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. He is also Vice President for Research at the Cato Institute. Dr. Miron holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. in economics from M.I.T. Dr. Miron’s commentary on economic policy has appeared on CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, NPR, Bloomberg, Fox, BBC, and dozens of other television, radio, and print media around the world. Dr. Miron’s area of expertise is the economics of libertarianism. He has written extensively against drug prohibition. Dr. Miron is also a star teacher: the Senior Class at Harvard has eleven times chosen him as one of its favorite teachers.
